Cancer free tip 6: The Power of Joy

There is so much out there now about the Power of something or other. Particularly concentrating on how better we will feel if we have heaps of money. Believe me money does not necessarily make for a happy life.
I am not saying we deserve to be penniless and we need to struggle, far from it – the problem today is we work our little a..es off and forget the joy of living in the moment. With this attitude – there is little wonder our bodies get all stressed a acidic with many of us ending up with cancer.
Believe me when I say – my journey to cancer was one of stress and frustration and always putting off living in the moment, I was always living in the future.
I used to think this was because I was a visionary – which I believe to be so a little – but there is a difference between a vision and an obsession – somewhere along the way we can lose the passion, and frustration together with anxiety slips in to our subconciouse without us even knowing it. So the cycle begins….
Do yourself a favor and live in the moment with joy. If you believe life is a struggle then that is exactly what it willl be – a struggle.
It is easier to live without struggle, and the most important thing for you is to feel good. So if you imagine feeling bad each day and lacking of good things, how easy is it to think about all the good there is around you – start by writing a list – you will be surprised to realise just how many people and things are around you that bring you joy. It can be as simple as getting up first thing in the morning, lighting a candle, making a cup of tea in your favorite cup, putting on some really relaxing music so you can connect with your Angels and Guides. Sitting in a quiet space for ten minutes can bring enormous joy. Connecting with nature….so many things we take for granted and forget to feel joy over. Wow, a walk on the beach with my husband Wayne does it for me everytime. Sitting in my meditation space for only a short time each morning brings joy to me as I link in to the universe….we all have our favorite things that bring us joy and it does not cost one single cent – just go into your memory banks…it is all there.
One other thing I get joy out of, is my screen saver. Yes that is right, my screen saver, being an author puts me right in front of it most days. I placed a photo of Wayne and I with our close friends Bob and Sylvie standing in front of a wreck on Fraser Island – the ocean is behind us, it puts a smile on my face every morning and throughout the day…what joy. We had such a lovely vacation together and that memory fills my heart with appreciation. Love and Light to all….have a great day.
