Melt the butter in the dehydrator or half-fill saucepan with hot water. Place bowl on top with the grated cacao in it, making sure it does not touch water – do not overheat, as we do not want to cook the cacao.

Stir with a metal spoon until melted. Avoid wooden or plastic spoons – these retain moisture that makes chocolate seize (harden).

Once the butter is melted mix all liquids in a bowl and using a small whisk blend until smooth.

Add cacao and salt and mix well.

If needed you might like to add more agave, cacao and orange oil to reach a desired taste.

Using a small spoon fill the candy moulds, then place in the freezer for 10 minutes then the refrigerator to set.

Optional: You can change the flavour and aroma of your chocolate just by adding a few drops of other essential oils such as ginger, cinnamon, mint, lavender, lemongrass, or nutmeg. Adding Coconut oil tastes amazing too.

Make sure you only use cold pressed therapeutic and food grade essential oils

Cancer cures life style changes

When we are talking about curing cancer, most of us are aware that we have to make life style changes
Resistance to change is so great that it is hard for most people to accommodate it.
It takes what seems to be, a natural in-built type of discipline. Some of us seem to have it naturally. This may depend on what we do in our everyday life.
Do we have to discipline our life in our jobs or work place, at home, or at a sport?
The answer to this is, yes.
So the same discipline is required if our life is at stake, providing of course we do not think that somebody else is going to save us.
Lifestyle changes mean we have to change our lives, sometimes in a big way, and to learn to do things differently.
So what do we do that is different?
Sometimes little things can help us change big things. For example, if we see some rubbish on the floor, we can pick it up and put it the bin. This is only a little thing, but if we do it often enough then it becomes a habit, and we end up doing it all the time, when the opportunity arises.

Creating a habit

Because cancer does not wait for you to procrastinate, you need to make these lifestyle changes straight away. Many philosophical teachers have stated, “If you can do something for 28 days then you create a habit”. A habit will create a lifestyle, and a lifestyle will create your destiny.
The protocols in my book From Cancer to Wellness: The forgotten secret has a 28-day step-by-step program for the healing to help cure cancer. It is important that if you want to cure cancer, as I did, then you have to do it now and make the big leap into change. The diet alone will make you change your life style, you will become stronger, and you will be able to cope with some exercise and meditation, to better the odds for curing your cancer.

Raw Food Culinary Class Entertaining in the Raw

Only a few more days left to go for the first November group Raw Food Culinary Class and I have been working diligently to make sure the day for everyone coming along is special and full of simple techniques that will make life as a raw food enthusiast well worth taking time out to spend with me. I am also happy to announce that I am now going to hold more classes in my home due to so much interest. The next available Raw Food Culinary Class Entertaining in the Raw will be held again at Broadbeach on the Gold coast is Saturday 12th January.

Please find details required for the January class on my home page. I am changing the theme to include Entertaining in the Raw – please feel free to send to your family and friends who you think might like to be encouraged to live a healthy and energised life.

Wayne and I look forward to sharing our home with you. Please registger online to www.cancertowellness.com quickly if you wish to secure your spot as it does fill quickly and there only 8 people in each class.

We have many people traveling from interstate and country areas to attend the November classes – if you do live a distance away this is a good time to take a trip to sunny Gold Coast – life here is very lay back and a great place to rejuvenate – even if it is only for a day or a weekend.

One of my favourite meals is raw nori rolls especially to enjoy over the weekend. I do many varieties from mini rolls to large rolls. These are very quick to make and a great light meal that is also very filling. Here is one of my recipes for you to enjoy over the weekend.

Serves 2

2 nori sheets

1 avocado finely sliced

1 finely sliced small red onion

Raw Nori Rolls

1 finely sliced roma tomato

Handful julienne carrot

Handful julienne zucchini

1 piece of ginger finely grated

Heaps of sprouts

Parsnip rice

parsnip rice

2 cups peeled and roughly chopped parsnip

1/8 cup macadamias

3tbls pine nuts

1/2tbls olive oil

1/2tsp lemon juice

1/2tsp Celtic or Himalayan salt

1tsp white miso

Method

Place all ingredients except the pine nuts in a food processor and pulse until a rice-like consistency is achieved.

Add pine nuts and process some more.

to assemble

Place nori sheets shiny side down on a clean cutting board and/or bamboo mat.

Moisten your hands with a hint of rice vinegar to that the rice will not stick

Spoon a generous rice mixture on the sheets and spread evenly over the sheet, leaving 1 inch space at the top of the sheet for sealing later.

Load up all the remaining vegetable, sprouts onto the middle of each sheet and fold from the bottom of the sheet up using the bamboo mat or your fingers – I personally get a better result using my fingers.

Wet the top of the nori sheet with a little water to seal the roll, and then cut into two or four pieces with a sharpe wet knife.

Serve with some shoyu, or tamari on the side or your favourite dipping sauce. You can also add a cashew cream sauce or vegan mayonnaise to the vegetables inside the nori roll.

For a man in his 40s – 1 in 1000

For a man in his 50s – 12 in 1000

For a man in his 70s – 80 in 1000

These numbers are high and I do get phone calls or emails from many women who are either married to men with this problem or are their partners. Funny how it is the women calling. I guess because this is a subject that many men like to ignore.

My husband Wayne gave up drinking alcohol in the early 1990′s because he realised when he did have a drink it caused the prostate to swell. To him having cured testicular cancer using nutrition, and meditation etc in l980, it made sense not to drink even one glass of wine. So guess what the prostate has been normal ever since.

Alcohol affects the estrogen levels in men and women who are susceptible to breast cancer

Research also shows drinking alcolhol for over twenty years or more can cause cancer of the mouth, throat, esophagus and liver. In 2008, the International Agency for Research on Cancer added breast and colon cancer, two of the four major killers, to the list of malignancies known to be fostered by alcohol.

Many of us like to have a glass of wine with a meal or to help relax us. The problem with this is wine has alcohol and preservatives such as sulphur dioxide and sodium sulphite (220, 221) especially for those suffering the effects of cancer. The alcohol in wine puts stress on the liver, is a depressant, destroys brain cells, and destroys B vitamins, which in turn, harms the immune system. The preservatives are also toxic to the liver, destroying vitamin A and B, all of which are important for good health and keeping the nervous system functioning correctly.

Alcohol, impairs your thinking, causes headaches, ferments in the stomach, and is extremely dehydrating. It can disturb your sleep and affects meditation and relaxation techniques. Alcohol leaves you with less control over your actions and choices, distorting your perception of reality. This can lead to you making bad food choices, and cravings for something sweet.

The answer to stress and trying to relax after work or at weekends lie in the lifestyle we live.

This of course leads me to remind everyone about eating more raw foods and drinking lots of water and beverages like coconut water.

Cancer

Cancer is a life threatening disease and a bitter reality of life. The good news is you can heal your body from cancer with awareness, right nutrition, positive thinking and belief in yourself. There are several real-life success stories cum testimonials where people have thrown out this killer disease from their systems with a positive thought- pattern, lifestyle changes and the right nutrition.

When it comes to nutrition humans consume food and liquids that are either alkaline or acidic in nature. These drinks and food can affect the health of our bodies positively or adversely. Higher the acid in the body the more susceptible you are to ill health. If you are acidic in nature your body cannot absorb essential minerals, vitamins and nutrients indispensable for cell repair. Cancer loves to grow and control in such a body. However with alkalinity you have the power to combat cancer and destroy the growth of killer cells in the body forever!

What Is Alkalinity?

Alkalinity implies the state of the human body in the alkaline mode. The alkaline body repairs cells, absorbs nutrition and heals you completely. Cancer cells cannot survive when the body is oxygenated. An alkaline body means you have oxygen sufficient enough to destroy deadly cancer cells. It is very important for you to be stress-free and away from pollution in order to increase alkalinity levels in your body. The food and liquids you drink determine the PH levels in the body and with awareness you can get back to good health soon.

What Are Alkaline Liquids and Food?

Raw fruits and vegetable metabolize our bodies and make it alkaline. Ideally you should consume 80% raw and 20% cooked food. Drinking water and reducing stress levels in the body help too. There is a common belief that 60% raw and 40% cooked food can keep you alkaline. However, it is best to stick to the 80-20 ratio to keep cancer at bay and restore a healthy active life. On some occasions you can go in for the 60-40 ratio in case you cannot maintain the 80-20 regime. However, this should be confined to “some occasions” only and not made a regular habit!

Obesity and Cancer

Obesity and cancer is a subject that is often ignored by many mainstream practitioners. It has to be obvious to most of us that if a person is not looking after their nutrition and health through the correct diet then serious illness is the eventual outcome.

So why do so many people suffer from obesity and why do they continually end up yo yo dieting?

There are many reasons. Two of which I have outlined below

1. Addiction to sugar

Sugar is not only fattening and an ingredient in most processed food; it is something that most diet companies add to their food. Sugar is one of the most dangerous and addictive substances consumed by our society today.

2. Low Fat

Low fat diets are not only useless for the long term – they are also dangerous.

Mind you, you need to know your fats.

There are good fats our body needs for the health of our central nervous system (our brain being 60 per cent fat). Fats protect our vital organs. Fats and Oils deserve a book on their own. An excellent book to read is ‘Fats that Heal, Fats that kill by Udo Erasmus.

Now for the oil that will really help you shed kilos and it is known, to shrink tumours.

ORGANIC COCONUT OIL

Yes folks – coconut oil is a saturated fat and many people even today still think it is bad for us.

Coconut oil has many healing benefits. It is good for the heart as it lowers cholesterol. Coconut oil is also excellent for those suffering diabetes, as well as preventing and treating thyroid-related ailments.

Coconut oil also helps maintain a healthy scalp and hair; and most importantly, it is anti-carcinogenic. Coconut oil is known to reduce and even eliminate tumours; and it does not go rancid when heated to a high temperature. Putting two tablespoons in your warm lemon drink or in your morning smoothie is delicious. I love it on my raw breakfast – fruit salad, and raw spicy oats see recipe below.

Coconut oil used, in some countries for commercial cooking, because of its benefits to general health. Together with organic cold pressed olive oil, and the fat from avocado; scoconut oil needs to be part of your daily intake of nutrients.

Apart from the above benefits for this exceptional oil, it is a wonderful moisturizer, a hair and scalp conditioner, and for sun protection due to its antioxidant properties. Some oils on the body make your skin burn; it would seem that the oil you place on your body; is just as important as the oil you put in it. Organic virgin coconut oil when being employed with an anti Candida program, and a weight loss program is extremely beneficial.

Apart from using the right oil, it is essential to consume more raw food. This will leave you more satisfied at meals. Please do not think your body needs to be eating 5 times a day – that is over working your digestive system. If eating the right food you will not get hungry in-between meals. So weight loss is one of the positive the outcomes and energy levels will rise enormously. Jump into summer feeling good, feeling great and be disease free.

Now for those who have trouble gaining weight – please do not be put off by the informaton in this article. All you have to do is increase your good fats by eating things like more almonds, cashews, macadamias etc. I can assure you that volume of certain foods is still important no matter what we eat.

Spicy Oats with coconut oil and coconut cream

Serves 2

1 cups oat grouts – soaked for 2-3 days

Raw Spicy Oats

(you can also use rice in place of the oats)

1/4 cup sultanas

1/4 cup agave

1tsp ground cinnamon

pinch Celtic salt or Himalayan

1/2 grated green apple per person

Oat grouts will have to be soaked for 2-3 days changing water twice daily and kept in a cool place. If you live in a hot humid climate, you may need to store in fridge during this process so avoid the oats going rancid and smelly. This might seem a long time to wait to use the oats – it is not time consuming though and the rest of the preparation is easy and fast. Just a little patients and organisation is required. I use this recipe at our retreats and as much as I have to supply meals for about 30 people, it takes very little of my time up.

Drain all the excess water off the oats after the 2-3 days and rinse well.

Now you can place the oats, sultanas, agave, cinnamon and salt into the food processor and mix well until smooth like cooked oatmeal texture.

Final step – transfer the mixture to a bowl and fold in the remaining raisins and apple.

I like to serve this up with a dash of coconut oil and coconut cream and some fresh fruit – banana, kiwi fruit and berries go well with this.

Serving sizes are about equivalent to about 3/4 cup each. This dish is very filling.

If you have a masticating juicer with the blank attachment, process oats (minus liquid) before placing in the food processor for a smooth mixture (or you can use a Kitchen Aid mixer). Then add all other ingredients.

It is fully active in coffee, tea, chocolate and many soft drinks being offered to children.

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have issued a strong warning to pregnant women against the consumption of caffeine because of the possible birth defects. Caffeine has been, related to many areas of disease, such as heart attacks, cancer of the bladder, prostrate, pancreas, ovary, breast cancers and many psychological disorders, not to mention negative effects on the central nervous system, resulting in adrenal exhaustion. Caffeine also dehydrates the body and a dehydrated body is an acidic body causing blood sugar swings, gastrointestinal problems, nutritional deficiencies and essential mineral depletion.

Calcium Loss

Coffee is linked to loss of calcium in the body. Calcium is an essential mineral that helps the formation of the bones (99% of calcium is located in the bones). When coffee (containing various levels of caffeine from 80–150 milligrams per cup) is consumed, the calcium excreted in the urine increases proportionately with the amount of caffeine that is consumed and in addition, there is an increased excretion of magnesium and sodium in the urine because of the caffeine intake. (Massey and Mondeika, 1984)

If you do want to increase your energy levels – then increase the amount of raw food you ingest together with replacing your drinks with water and if you want something with a bit of a lift and is full of electrolytes and is extremely alkaline forming in the body:

Natural Energy Drink

1 cup coconut water
1tbls agave
Juice half a lemon or juice of half a lime

This is a great drink to recover during and after exercise. Not to mention it will give you a natural energy boost at anytime and a wonderful drink to sip on in the summer months on a hot day.

so through away the coke, gatorade, and those horrible Red Bull and V drinks full of caffeine and sugar and find the natural cures for cancer or take a step to avoiding cancer

1. Remove Sugar and processed foods from your diet as it will feed the cancer cells
2. Eradicate Candida and Parasites, as this will be compromising your digestive system
3. Remove Caffeine as it is toxic and acid forming
3. Make sure your body is alkaline – by eating a diet full of a raw food – minimum of 80% raw and 20% cooked - bear in mind the 20% cooked is now as dead as your dining room table.
4. Stop drinking alcohol – it is heavy on the liver and is acid forming in the body – the liver is a pathway for detoxification so if you are feeding it substances that block its flow then you will not heal.
5. Drink at least 2-3 litres of water a day – this will keep you hydrated and supports the detoxification process- this is essential
6. Buy Organic – this covers food and personal care products plus cleaning and houshold product too.
7. Use good fats – my book has a list of the good fats and the bad fats
8. Detoxify your body – my book has systematic daily protocols
9. Invest in good nutritional supplements
10. Use the right protein from a vegetarian source – with the exception of organic eggs. Organic eggs have wonderful properties for supporting the body not only to help repair cells – also in the area of detoxification. One of the things I did add to my diet after being vegan for many years when I was diagnosed with cancer.
